Overbrook West Neighbors, Inc. is actively involved with a number of groups and organizations that invest in our work, advocate for our community and help us to improve our quality of life. Together, our relationships support the people of Overbrook and beyond. A description of these affiliations and links to their websites are provided below.

Black Nonprofit Chief Executives of Philadelphia (BNCEP). BNCEP is a collective of Black nonprofit leaders in Philadelphia, dedicated to enriching our leadership, enhancing our resources, and amplifying our ability to support residents and organizations thrive, thereby contributing to a flourishing city and region.

Main Street America. Main Street America leads an inclusive, impact-driven movement dedicated to reenergizing and strengthening older and historic downtowns and neighborhood commercial districts nationwide.

Pennsylvania Downtown Center (PDC). The mission of PDC is to build and support the capacity of local non-profit organizations, municipalities and individuals to enhance the overall well-being and sustainability of Pennsylvania’s “core” communities. PDC accomplishes this mission by engaging local community leaders and volunteers, and educating them, to advance the sense of place, quality of life and economic vitality of the Commonwealth’s downtowns, traditional neighborhood business districts and nearby residential areas. PDC is the only statewide nonprofit dedicated solely to the revitalization of the commonwealth’s core communities.

Philadelphia Association of Community Development Corporations (PACDC). PACDC works to create an equitable city where every Philadelphian lives, works, and thrives in a neighborhood that offers an excellent quality of life. As a membership association, PACDC fosters strong community development corporations and non-profit community organizations by enhancing their skills and advocating for resources and policies to create a just and inclusive Philadelphia.

Philadelphia Foundation Key Skills Hub. The Key Skills Hub, a service sponsored by the Philadelphia Foundation, is a marketplace for volunteerism where the community and the corporate sector of Philadelphia meet to work towards improving the quality of life of our neighborhoods, our city and beyond.

United Way of Greater Philadelphia & Southern New Jersey At United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey, we aim to put an end to poverty and expand opportunity for all. At the Center for Leadership Equity, creating lasting change in our communities starts with strong leadership and empowering Black nonprofit leaders to foster stronger, more equitable communities. As the first initiative of its kind in Greater Philadelphia, the Center provides Black leaders with the tools, resources, and support they need to excel and lead change in the nonprofit sector. Through tailored educational programs, executive coaching and access to vital funding, we empower Black nonprofit leaders to bridge the equity gap and drive real change.
