Philadelphia Free Business Tax Preparation Program
The Philadelphia Department of Commerce is proud to announce that the Free Business Tax Preparation Application is live. This program is designed to provide at least 5,000 small businesses earning less than $250,000 in revenue with free local, state, and federal tax preparation. Commerce secured 19 accounting firms who are prepared to serve across Philadelphia in multiple languages.
Businesses can apply now through the application, which takes less than 20 minutes to complete. After completing the application, the business owner will be matched with a vetted accountant who will help them file their business taxes. Messages notifying business owners of their accountant match will begin in mid-January.
