59th Street Bridge Rehabilitation Project Public Open House
The City of Philadelphia is continuing progress on the 59th Street Bridge Rehabilitation Project, which plays a key role in connecting the Wynnefield and Overbrook neighborhoods crossing over the Amtrak and SEPTA rail lines. As it is important to engage stakeholders on both the Wynnefield and Overbrook sides of the bridge, we are hosting a community open house at Overbrook High School.
As the project advances in its final design phase, we cordially invite you to our in-person Open House at the Overbrook High School Gym on Wednesday April 8, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Please see the attached flyer for more details. At the open house, you’ll have an opportunity to speak with design project team members and view materials covering:
History of the bridge
Current bridge condition
Planned improvements and scope of work
Change of construction approach
Vehicular and cyclist/pedestrian detour plans
Project schedule
Thank you for your interest in the 59th Street Bridge Rehabilitation Project.
Sincerely,
Vadim Fleysh, P.E.
